Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Augusta, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,978 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Compact or GA license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Titrating cardiac drips required - Telemetry experience required - Mixed medical/surgical and intermediate care experience Description: Minimum experience required is 1 year. First-time travelers are accepted. Patient population includes adolescents to geriatrics. Candidates must have BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications. General skills required include telemetry monitoring, managing cardiac drips, and nursing responsibilities in a stepdown unit. Assignments may include all PCU, MS/Tele, or a mix of PCU and MS/Tele based on patient acuity and staffing. The unit has a high staffing ratio of 1:4-5. No block scheduling is available. Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be required. Holidays may require working during major holidays depending on assignment period. Compliance with required documentation is necessary to ensure an on-time start. Candidates must be able to submit core items within 48 hours of signing the contract. Candidates must also provide two supervisory references at the time of submission. It is mandatory to work every other weekend unless specified otherwise. A maximum of 7 days of requested time off is allowed. All documentation must be submitted by the designated deadline to ensure compliance. No holiday time off can be requested for one or two major holidays during the assignment. If three major holidays occur, travelers are expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Candidates must have experience managing vasoactive and cardiac drips along with other critical care responsibilities.
