Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Lincolnton, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,122 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Lincolnton, North Carolina, 28092! Job Title: RN - Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery/Postpartum License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM Must-Have: Management has approved to accept Postpartum only or Labor and Delivery experience. Ability and willingness to work in an LDRP setting. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery/Postpartum. This unit has 10 Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) beds, 2 OB rooms, and 2 triage rooms. The average patient census is around 7 patients per day. Patient care includes labor, triage, postpartum, and newborn care. The patient-to-nurse ratio follows AWHONN Staffing Guidelines: 1:2 in inactive labor, 1:1 in active labor, and 1:3-4 for couplets. Required skills include labor management, circulating cesarean sections, and support during pre-op, PACU, and triage. Nurses are also involved in newborn resuscitation, Pitocin management, and epidural management. Support within the department includes a charge nurse and a respiratory therapy team available 24/7. The unit utilizes an Electronic Medical Record system and requires proficiency with IV pumps, fetal monitoring, and other specific equipment. Travelers may be required to float to various facilities within the region based on the needs of the department. Travelers will be expected to work 75% of holidays. RTO requests can be made for up to 6 days off, excluding holidays.
