Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10hr Night Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology Certifications: ARRT or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine with advanced registry from ARMRIT or ARRT in MRI required. BLS certification required. Must-Have: Confident clinical skill sets with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high patient acuity environment. Good communication skills and a helpful, team-oriented attitude. Description: This is a position for an MRI Technologist. The technologist will work with both adult and pediatric patients. Common diagnoses include those from emergency departments, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatients across the full spectrum of radiology exams. The department averages 40-45 patients per day. All departments have a lead tech, modality supervisor, and imaging manager. The team is diverse with varying years of experience from new graduates to long tenured teammates. The department fosters good teamwork and high clinical skill sets while working in a fast-paced environment.
