qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28210!
Pay Information $2,161 per week About The Position Job Title: RN -
Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty:
Labor & Delivery/Postpartum Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift
Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor,
Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) License: RN License Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, EFM, NRP Must-Have: Experience with
postpartum vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Experience with newborn
care, including heel sticks, 24-hour testing, NAS scoring, and
lactation support. Ability to perform fundal massage. Must have the
skillset to work in LDRP, primarily in Postpartum/Newborn with
potential floats to Labor/Delivery. Description: Register as a
Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery/Postpartum. The unit
includes 22 beds with an average census of 30 patients. Patient
ratios are typically 1:3-4 couplets for residents. The facility
does not have a trauma designation and is not a teaching hospital.
The hospital is a designated chest pain center and stroke center.
Support staff includes a CNA per shift, receptionists for patient
registration, and unit secretary duties. A charge nurse and case
managers are available on the unit. Phlebotomy and respiratory
therapy services are provided 24/7. OB physicians and midwives are
part of the healthcare team. Neonatology support is also available.
Floating will be required within the region and scope of practice.
Travelers may need to float to other facilities as needed. Weekend
rotations occur every other week, with holiday commitments
expected. RTO approval may include up to 6 days off, excluding
holidays, with the requirement to extend the contract if unable to
meet contracted hours. Scrubs are provided, and there are no remote
tele-monitoring options. Free parking is available for staff.
