As a weekend Youth Care Worker , you’ll work at least two shifts per pay period , helping to create a healthy, high-energy culture that uplifts and empowers at-risk youth ages 6–17. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that’s deeply committed to trauma-informed care and emotional support. What You’ll Do: Supervise and guide youth in daily routines and activities Encourage participation in group discussions and programs Promote healthy coping strategies and emotional regulation Foster a non-punitive, emotionally safe space Support the development of individualized treatment plans Help manage conflicts through positive communication and mediation Ensure progress and incidents are documented and shared with the Treatment Team Build meaningful relationships based on trust and empathy Uphold health, hygiene, and safety standards Model consistency, patience, and positive behavior What You’ll Need: High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree a plus) Minimum 2 years experience working with youth (ages 6–17) preferred Must be 21 years old with a valid NC driver’s license and clean driving record Must pass a background check and drug screening Strong emotional intelligence and ability to self-regulate Coachable, dependable, and team-oriented Why Join Us?
