internet to communities that need it most. As a key part of our
sales team, you’ll be on the front lines—literally—helping
residents in and around Columbia discover the benefits of our
lightning-fast fiber service. This role is about more than just
sales; it’s about building relationships and bringing freedom of
internet choice to neighborhoods across the region. Location : This
will primarily be working in the field focusing on growing our
customer base in the Columbia, Missouri area. We are actively
hiring in the following markets: Columbia, Fulton, Prathersville,
Sturgeon, Centralia, Ashland, Hallsville, Harrisburg, Boonville,
Rocheport, Huntsdale, and Millersburg . When not working in the
field, this position can work from the Columbia office or from
home. What You’ll Do/Day in the Life: Key Responsibilities Include:
Hitting the Streets: Go door-to-door introducing residents to our
fiber optic services. Be the friendly, positive face of Socket
Fiber. Building Rapport: Engage with potential customers,
understand their needs, and communicate how our service solves real
problems. Demonstrating Value: Use tools and training to present
the benefits of fiber internet with clarity and confidence. Close
Sales: Have compelling conversations that lead to
conversions—whether face-to-face or over the phone. Following Up:
Stay in touch with new customers and coordinate with our install
team to ensure a seamless experience. Provide Feedback: Share
insights from the field with the marketing team to help refine
messaging and outreach. Staying Safe: Always follow company safety

Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Previous
experience in direct sales or customer-facing roles General
knowledge of telecommunications services (i.e. internet, wireless,

for this role, you'll need the following required qualifications:
Current & Valid Driver’s License with no restrictions Flexibility
to work evenings and occasional Saturdays Ability to travel within
a 30-mile radius, with some overnight stays Physical ability to
walk for extended periods, often several miles daily Willingness to
work outdoors in various weather conditions
