Job Description:

We are looking to add an Optometric Assistant that is motivated to work in a busy, but fun work environment. Office hours are Monday - Thursday, 8am - 6pm. The ideal candidate thrives in a self-directed work environment and is intrinsically motivated to succeed. A strong personality will be the best fit for this position, although experience is a plus, we are happy to teach the technical skills to the correct candidate. The day to day may consist of assisting the doctor of optometry with examinations, special testing such as optical coherence tomography (OCT), visual field testing, dry eye testing, assisting patients with contact lenses and other duties typical of eyecare. Once properly trained the ideal candidate will be an authority in regards to eye care as a whole. Optometry knowledge is a plus, but we are more than happy to train the correct individual.
