role do have a 12 hour rotating schedule** Your JobGeorgia-Pacific
is seeking Entry-Level Production Workers for its Oriented Strand
Board (OSB) facility located in Alcolu, SC. This position is
responsible for operating equipment to produce and maintain quality
of the product and meet customer expectations. Workers may work in
various departments within the mill - including Dryer & Energy,
Press, and Finishing. To learn more about our Building Products

Our TeamOur Clarendon OSB facility in Alcolu, SC is one of
Georgia-Pacific's newest facilities using some of the most advanced
technology to create the specialty brand of Blue Ribbon Oriented
Strand Board (OSB). This type of OSB is used for floor, wall, and
roof sheathing in residential and light commercial construction
applications. What You Will DoOperate manufacturing equipment to
produce and maintain quality of the product and meet customer
expectationsWorking in team-based environmentCommunicating
effectively and respectfully with other team membersLearning new
tasks (including functions in control cab, control room, and ground
support) and become proficient in performing these tasksOperate
Control Room panels, displays and graphics to maintain operations
according to parametersMonitor system performance to meet
targetsProvide ground support for production areaMaintain safe and
clean working environment, using variety of equipment, including
air hoses, shovels, rakes, saws, and other toolsLearn and comply
with environmental guidelines, policies, and permit
requirementsAdhere to all plant health, safety, and environmental
guidelines, policies, and proceduresOperate mobile equipment to
include a front-end loader, sweeper, and forklift Other duties as
assignedWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Minimum of 6 months
experience working in manufacturing, farming, landscaping,
carpentry, warehouse, construction, military, or industrial
environments What Will Put You AheadAt least one (1) year of
machine operating experienceAt least three (3) years of industrial
or manufacturing experienceExperience operating mobile
equipmentExperience working in a computer-controlled
