Nephron is currently working on research and development projects that include over 50 new products. The company's longstanding relationships with major drug wholesalers allow us to distribute our products to retail pharmacies, mail-order pharmacies, hospitals, home care companies, and long-term care facilities. Nephron has a sales force that covers all fifty states and Puerto Rico, with additional sales channels throughout South America, the Middle East, and Europe. Position Summary:

  • Compile and analyze monthly invoices.
  • Assist with additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent. Requirements
    Primary Accountabilities:

Specific tasks or responsibilities will be documented in the incumbents' performance objectives as outlined by the incumbents' immediate supervisor or manager
    • Prepare monthly accounting reports and monthly closings.
    • Prepare all entries related to accounts payable. Responsible for making sure all invoices are paid on time.
    • Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and identifying errors and/or omissions by applying appropriate accounting standards.
    • Receive, research, and resolve internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons.
    • Perform various other accounting functions and duties as needed to support the accounting department.
    • Maintain and distribute accounting documents, records, and reports as instructed. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
      • Accounts payable or general accounting experience
      • Knowledge of Sage 100 and NetSuite preferred
      • Must be advanced in using and understanding Excel and Microsoft Office programs.
      • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Must have strong organizational skills and be very detail-oriented.
      • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
      • The ability to create and contribute to an environment that values people, encourages trust, teamwork, and open communication, and provides participation, learning, feedback, and recognition.
      • The ability to effectively manage oneself, demonstrates integrity, be productive under pressure, and achieve development goals.
