Job Description:
A non-profit health insurance company has a current position
open for a Remote Actuarial Analyst I.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
Ensuring financial integrity of lag cell data via reconciliation
procedures
Completing Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) reserve estimates
Supporting projects that help to determine key assumptions that are
included in our rate development practices
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics or a
related field is required
Advanced proficiency level with Microsoft Excel
Familiar with a variety of analysis concepts, practice and
procedures
Basic knowledge of SQL, SAS, R, or other data manipulation
software
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Suite to include, Word,
Power Point and Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
