We are seeking a motivated and friendly X-Ray Technician to join our team of medical staff at our MEDcare Urgent Care centers in the Columbia, SC market. If you are a motivated, caring professional who puts the patient first, you are the right person to join our team Roles and Responsibilities Our X-Ray Technicians are critical to the successful operation of our clinics and patient health. As a X-Ray Tech, you will be responsible for all diagnostic imaging orders including, but not limited to, exams of the chest, abdomen, spine and extremities. X-Ray Techs are also trained in different aspects of direct patient care such as triaging patients, EKGs, Orthopedic Splinting, Phlebotomy, IV starts, injections and processing patient payments. The centers are open 7 days a week, 12 hours a day. Requirements Ability to work a continuous 12-hour shift Ability to work weekends Exceptional customer service skills Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced environment Ability to excel in a team-focused environment Bi-lingual a plus Education and Experience Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program Minimum licensing from South Carolina Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) Experience with EMR and PACS preferred ARRT Certification a plus 1 year of x-ray experience (student clinical experience accepted) New grads will be considered Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package in a wonderful teamwork environment which includes a comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and insurance plans, generous paid time off plan (PTO), 401(k) and more.
