Position Overview
The Supply Chain Business Analyst is responsible for planning, managing, and completing the activities associated with detailed analysis and redesign of Distribution Center (DC) business processes. The Supply Chain Business Analyst is a key team member within DC Operations. Main responsibility for identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities that are enabled by SAP ERP functionality and related bolt-on applications.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Acts as project liaison within the user community for his/her continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Works with other Supply Chain Analysts, SAP Specialists and Integration Testing teams on projects and initiatives to ensure an integrated system solution.
  • SAP super-user that will provide day-to-day support to the end-user community.
  • Facilitates and/or participates in business process improvement and change sessions and supports kaizen and lean business initiatives as SAP owner of business processes.
  • Works with various Business Improvement Leaders and DC Management to develop and draft detailed business cases, documentation, and measurement criteria applicable to business improvement opportunities.
  • Proactively identifies training-related issues impacting Hubbell Business Platforms and localized business units.
  • Good understanding of organizational/human resources issues associated with business process changes.
  • Participate in the planning and managing of the continuous improvement opportunities that relate to SAP ERP releases, all DC non-SAP software applications, and software upgrades.
    Skills and Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
    • 5+ years' experience in IT, business process analysis or other relevant role.
    • Previous experience as SAP Lead with strong functional SAP knowledge a must.
    • Familiarity with SAP WM and TMS modules highly preferred.
    • Advanced Excel and Access skills.
    • System implementation experience.
    • Must have strong comprehensive knowledge of business systems and applications.
    • Must have great communication and problem solving skills.
    • Uses continuous improvement methodology and process expertise to determine detailed design of SAP and non-SAP enabled solutions.
