PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT TEAM LEAD Schedule: M-F 6am - 4:30pm (some Saturdays)Principal Duties and Responsibilities:The Team Lead will perform specific job duties for their respective department (examples: Welding, Sanding, Machine Operating, etc.), as well as the duties and responsibilities listed below:Job Requirements:--- Communicate company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to the team--- Oversee day-to-day operation--- Monitor team performance and report on metrics--- Discover training needs and provide coaching--- Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments--- Support team supervisor and perform supervisory duties when supervisor is absent or away from the workplace--- Assist team members by providing necessary supplies and resources to perform the essential functions of their job--- Motivate team members--- Assist supervisor with monitoring time and attendance--- Suggest strategies to management to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals--- Provide quality customer service, including interacting with co-workers, leadership staff, customers, and effectively handling customer concerns and/or complaints.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:--- Supervisory experience required--- Manufacturing/Production Experience--- Organizational skills--- Time management skills--- Sense of urgency--- Problem Solving & Critical Thinking skills--- Communication skills--- Motivational skills--- Results-Oriented (Quality & Quantity)--- Employee Training skills--- Relationship Building skills--- Customer Service Skills
