1. Leads, at the direction of the Subspecialty Manager, day-to-day
operations of Care Team for assigned providers (Physician and/or
Advanced Practice Provider), in addition to daily fulfilling all of
the job responsibilities of a Care Team Member, which are included
below. 2. Provides clinical medical assistance and support to
managing physician, including chart review, patient interview,
suture removal/prep, wound care/prep, drawing up injections/prep
and coordinating any and all recommended MD treatment.? Responsible
for documentation of accurate clinical information into the medical
record, which requires knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS coding. 3.
Enters all new patient demographic information, charges and posting
payments to accounts. Collection of payments and management of cash
receivables also required, along with any additional paperwork
necessary to carry out the job. Responsible for managing patient
balances, including notifying patients of outstanding balances, and
transferring those accounts to collections following department
policy.? Corresponds with client companies and workers'
compensation insurance carriers on patient accounts.???? 4.
Communicates with ancillary and diagnostic healthcare providers,
obtaining patient documentation from appropriate personnel as
needed, and resolving any discrepancies and incomplete or
inaccurate data from medical record. 5. Verifies insurance coverage
and receives authorization for treatment (office visits, diagnostic
testing, procedures, surgeries) if required on all patients. 6.
Manages multiple phone lines and solves daily and routine problems
regarding patient care, following proper channels of communication,
recognizing issues for referral to management. 7. Schedules
patients and coordinates daily work flow (patient flow). Develops,
continuously assesses, and maintains patient scheduling to ensure
optimal patient flow.? 8. Maintains an accurate filing system for
patient records, patient charges, correspondence, and business
functions.? Handles mail, correspondence, packages, etc. in a
timely and appropriate manner. 9. Makes recommendations to
management of changes or additions to office functions. 10. ?????
