Job Description:
Position Summary
Bi-lingual English-Korean (strongly preferred). ENTRY LEVEL
POSITION*
Coordinating and carrying out complex testing, troubleshooting, and
diagnostics of internal and market quality issues for sourcing
materials.
Role and Responsibilities
Analyze product defects through testing, utilizing inspection
instruments, and audit of process flow as needed.
Develop inspection procedures, testing procedures, and setup of
test infrastructure (e.g., testing equipment).
Update Quality Inspection Standards and make revisions with new
inspection and testing procedures.
Update incoming inspection system (SQCI) for revised specifications
and new material specifications so inspection data can be
input.
Develop technical reports such as the Quality Trouble Report (QTR)
to provide feedback to Global Source vendors in order to receive
countermeasure.
Track QTR and Countermeasure Turn Around Time (TAT)
performance.
Verify the effectiveness of the Vendors countermeasure through
logical, experimental, and statistical analysis.
Prepare training plans and train QC inspectors.
Perform periodic audits (QPA, QPS, EQS, etc.)
All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
Education: Associates degree required (Bachelors preferred)
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality at a
manufacturing company.
Knowledge: Experience with testing and measuring equipment
(Calipers, micrometers, height gauge, tensile and hardness
gauges)
Skills: Strong problem solving ability (Root Cause Analysis), good
verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in standard
office software including MS Office, Statistical Process Control
(SPC) Analysis.
Domestic Role but interaction with vendors overseas. Bilingual
(Korean) language preferred.
