AMCSUMMARYResponsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and
maintaining adequate levels of Maintenance Repair and Operation
(MRO) items required to ensure machines are utilized to their
maximum and downtime is minimized.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.Receives and verifies MRO items and supplies.Ensures
operations are completed in accordance with Amcor PET Packaging's
safety proceduresProcesses receiving documentation using a computer
system .Notifies buyer of discrepancies between items received and
actual invoiced amount.Properly stores all MRO items.Issues all MRO
items following written procedures.Maintains required stock levels
and prepares and submits requisitions for stock
replenishment.Completes required documentation for outbound capital
assets and repair items.Generates reports using computer programs
and maintains files.Acts as the backup buyer and performs buyer
functions in the buyer's absence.Effectively communicates with all
internal and external customers.Maintains a clean work area and
performs general housekeeping duties.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this

procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports,
business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to
effectively present information and respond to questions from

public.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to calculate figures and amounts
such as discounts, interests, commissions, proportions,
percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply
concepts of basic algebra and geometry.REASONING ABILITYAbility to
solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete
variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES,
REGISTRATIONSA valid forklift certification, which meets OSHA
requirements, is required to perform the essential duties of this

is occasionally performed near moving mechanical parts. Safety
glasses are required to be worn. The noise level is loud, requiring
hearing protection to be worn. GMP procedures are observed in all
areas of the plant.AUTHORIZATIONAbility to shut down any machine if
it poses an imminent danger to employee's health and/or
safety.Ability to shut down any machine because of a quality
problem so suspect material can be contained.Ability to shut down
any if it is down three times in one hour for the same mechanical
problem.Authority to contact any staff or management team member
with concerns, questions or suggestions pertaining to their job or
work environment.Initiate Corrective Actions for violations of
Company policies.Recommend hiring, termination and promotions of
subordinates.Approve expenditures up to pre-determined amount
identified by corporate guidelines without prior approval of
