Carpenter Technology Corporation is a leading producer and distributor of premium specialty alloys, including titanium alloys, nickel and cobalt based superalloys, stainless steels, alloy steels and tool steels.-- Carpenter Technology's high-performance materials and advanced process solutions are an integral part of critical applications used within the aerospace, transportation, medical and energy markets, among other markets.-- Building on its history of innovation, Carpenter Technology's wrought and powder technology capabilities support a range of next-generation products and manufacturing techniques, including novel magnetic materials and additive manufacturing.-- Carpenter Technology's Hartsville Manufacturing Operations (formerly Talley Metals) is a mini mill supplying a variety of sizes and specifications of high-quality round, square and hexagonal stainless- steel bars for distribution.POSITION: Store Room Coordinator POSITION OVERVIEWProvides daily support for MRO Storeroom functions, to include general warehousing duties and supply of material for the Hartsville Operations plant personnel.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Receives Freight and Non-Freight Vendor deliveries; includes unloading material, checking all documentation received from drivers (packing slips, bills of lading, etc.) and inspecting material for damage.Receive material into MRO Stores inventory, logging received material into daily log sheets, filing required documentation and placing material into designated storage location as required.Compare identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.Deliver material to designated delivery point, ensuring that all receipts are signed for in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Supply MRO Supervisor with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to include ( but not limited to: Outbound shipments, stock-outs, deliveries, pickups, backorders, Good Receipts, and Pick Tickets. Maintain compliance with all Corporate, State and Federal guidelines in regards to all receipts, bills of lading and any other documents or document control procedures as required. Uses computer terminal to record amounts of materials or items received or distributed, thus maintaining inventory records. Participates in periodic cycle counts. Maintains security of stores area.Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.Required:

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write-- correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervision and other employees.Preferred:
