Job Description

Eurofins BPT-Columbiais looking for an Associate Scheduling Specialist to join our team located in Columbia, Missouri. The Associate Scheduling Specialist is responsible for assisting the Planning department by accurately performing production planning and scheduling activities to efficiently serve the company's clients.
Execute efficient schedules on a regular basis to maximize efficiency of resources and equipment. Able to modify production dates based on materials and capacity fluctuations.
Proactively monitors production process, workflow, and schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
Provide various scheduling analyses to ensure optimal schedules and provide staff recommendations.
Generate daily or weekly production reports to leaders for critical decision-making purposes.
Assist with integration initiatives of report scheduling system.
Maintain communication of information between the users and management concerning system development and maintenance needs, objectives, and strategies.
Champion and implement process improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with new processes across service lines.
Collaborate and assist with inventory transaction analysis and correction as needed.
Capture, store and report on historical statistics.
Evaluate and recommend staffing requirements.
Collaborate with staff to identify scheduling requirements.
Establish and maintain communication channels to all stakeholders.
Performs other related duties as required and directed.
The ideal candidate would possess:
Ability to forecast and trend workload needs. Demonstrated ability to work independently, organize, prioritize, and follow through to completion on multiple tasks under strict deadlines and changing priorities. Basic understanding of pharmaceutical testing requirements. Excellent customer service skills. Project management or facilitation skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is required.

Knowledge of Microsoft Project and PowerPoint is highly desirable

Regular and reliable attendance is a requirement of this position.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Finance or Economics, and 1 to 3 years scheduling experience.

Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., with overtime as needed. Position is remote 95% of the time, with occasional requirement to come onsite for trainings, meetings, etc., therefore, candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Columbia, MO are encouraged to apply.
