JOB DESCRIPTION
The Honeywell Advanced Materials plant, located in Columbia, MO 65202, has an immediate opening on their production line.

Production Operator
We want to give you the opportunity to showcase your mechanical knowledge and hard-working mentality with one of the regions strongest manufacturing facilities. As a Production Operator you will play an important role in the success of a facility producing lubricants for plastics that you and those around you use on a daily basis. Whether you are moving product around the facility, operating one of our forklifts, or other various duties as you support production, shipping or loading your day is certain never to be boring. We will give you plenty to do and provide you with a safe and stable career that you can excel in. If you join our team in addition to your hourly compensation, we have the following:

Key Responsibilities:
*Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) including fork trucks
*Operate robot/palletizer and troubleshoot in the event of equipment issues
*Run prilling tower operations including startup, shutdown, and general operation
*Package bulk material sacks (FIBC)
*Troubleshoot production issues when required, and follow through appropriately
*Learn batching process and associated equipment
*Learn railcar liquid material transfer process
*Follow all safety rules/regulations and participate in Honeywell Structured Safety activities
*Operate in a fashion consistent with Honeywell Operating System, 5S and -standardization efforts
*Maintain a safe and clean work area through daily housekeeping responsibilities.
*4 month rotating 12-hour schedule
*Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
*Willingness to work overtime
*Valid drivers license
*High School Diploma or Equivalent
You Must Have:
*High School Diploma or GED

*Experience operating a forklift
*Experienced working in a Chemical manufacturing plant
*Chemical Safety experience
