Job Description:


The Director of Mergers & Acquisitions - Security & Systems Integration is responsible for establishing relationships with potential M&A clients within the Security & Systems Integration space. The Director will be responsible for the analysis of potential M&A clients across the United States and may participate in integration tasks as needed. Reporting to the Senior VP of Strategic Business Development and Supplier Relations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or other related study or equivalent industry experience required
  • At least 10 years of experience in security and systems integration industry required
  • At least 5 years of experience at the senior leadership level within a systems integration organization
  • Prior experience interacting with contractors and industry professionals required
  • Possesses valuable industry relationships that would aid in the generation of potential M&A opportunities for the Company
  • Intermediate to advanced level of experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of an organization, including C-Suite
  • Strong business acumen including ability to read and understand financial statements
  • Ability to motivate others
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, competency in grammar and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels, internal and/or external to the organization
  • Results driven
  • Ability to travel as position will require 40% travel at a minimum

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for potential deal lead generation and prospecting
  • Responsible for deal qualification upon initial interest
  • Responsible for synergy analysis
  • Responsible for target supplier optimization analysis concerning acquisition
  • Assists with other areas of M&A integration as needed
  • Represent the Company at industry trade show events throughout the nation
  • All other relative duties as assigned

Work Environment

This job operates primarily in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
