Job Description Job Description Position Overview: National Roll
Kote is seeking a Machinist to join our team in Charlotte, North
Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a background in machining
and proficiency in operating various manual machine equipment. The
individual will manufacture various items using a variety of manual
machining equipment while producing high quality components
ensuring all specifications are met. This job shop environment
requires proficiency in lathes, drill press, micrometer, pi tape,
calipers and grinding machines. Essential Job Functions: Maintain a
safe and clean environment Ability to set up and operate manual
lathes, mills and other machining equipment to produce parts
according to job specifications Adjust & operate machine tools to
perform precision machining operations Ability to read and
interpret blueprints, drawings & specifications to determine the
equipment and materials necessary for the job Take measurements
from existing rollers and duplicate new parts while ensuring
quality targets Operate machines to grind, cut and polish materials
Conduct routine maintenance on machines & troubleshoot any issues
that arise during production. Job Requirements: Certification in
machinery or completed industry apprenticeship Lathe machining,
reading blueprints experience Ability to lift and/or 30 lbs Long
periods of standing Working Conditions: Working conditions are
normal for a manufacturing environment.
