is an on-site position located in Charleston, SC. Position Summary:
The Lead, Warehouse Technician, plays a key role in overseeing
daily warehouse operations and ensuring efficient material flow.
This role requires a high degree of independence, initiative, and
accountability. The Lead, Warehouse Technician will serve as the
primary on-site warehouse contact for their assigned location.
Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, enforcing standard
operating procedures, and supporting the ongoing development of
team operations. This position will also train and mentor new
warehouse staff as locations expand. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities Inspect, verify and receive material into the
warehouse. Document material transactions into WMS system,
including receiving Purchase Orders. Communicate clearly and
effectively with multiple departments and leadership. Store, pick,
package and issue material. Create, edit, and monitor orders
requested using WMS system and fulfill within 24 hours. Restock and
rotate material using FIFO (first in first out) processes. Update
team on material shortages. Receives CPE returns and moves through
the various refurbishing statuses including cannibalization when
appropriate. Occasionally provides pickup, delivery, and
loading/unloading of CPE, materials, and equipment by safely
operating fleet vehicles. Full physical counts and recurring cycle
counts. Manually loads and unloads deliveries and daily pick-ups.
Schedule pickups with freight carriers. Inform contacts of order
status. Report submissions. Warehouse organization and cleaning.
Continued education and training of WMS system. Ensure that
regulatory compliance requirements are met. Address and resolve any
shipment or delivery errors. Document errors before signing and
returning carrier copy. Other duties as assigned. Additional Lead
Responsibilities: Serve as the on-site point of contact and lead
for daily warehouse operations. Exercise a high degree of
independence and ownership of all warehouse functions, ensuring
timely and accurate completion of work. Coordinate and communicate
priorities with Field Operations and Procurement to maintain
efficient material flow. Conduct regular inventory audits and
proactively identify process improvements. Provide training,
guidance, and support to new and existing warehouse team members on
SOPs, safety practices, and WMS usage. Lead by example to promote
accountability, safety, and a clean, organized workspace. Monitor
warehouse performance metrics and provide regular updates to
leadership. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of three years of related warehouse or inventory management
experience preferred (e.g., warehouse operations, inventory
management, or logistics). Prior experience in a lead or training
capacity strongly preferred. Excellent oral and written
communication skills internally and customer-facing. Proven ability
to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision.
Capability to safely and skillfully operate a pallet jack,
forklift, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment. Experience
using an inventory management software; NetSuite and RF Smart
preferred. Strong time management, attention to detail,
organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills. Ability
to lead by example and promote accountability, safety, and
teamwork. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Proficiency with
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Ability to use a variety of tools,
such as screwdrivers and pliers. Ability to use cleaning products,
including denatured alcohol, sandpaper, and paint. Other Duties:
