Computer Client Support Admin Manager
Provide Advisory & Assistance Services (A&AS) to support the 9AF (AFCENT) A4 installation Shaw AFB with Temporary Duty Assignments in worldwide location where AFCENT does business.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages IT permanent workstations, mobile cell phones, portable laptops, printers, scanners, conferencing equipment.
  • Configures user software, modifies software configuration, and performs basic configuration management functions.
  • Provides software application assistance for commonly used
    office automation and performs initial system diagnostics and troubleshoots systems.
  • Coordinates support issues with all agencies (e.g., customers, Functional System Administrator (FSA), Communication Focal Point (CFP), etc.).
    • Reviews organization's needs for computer resources on an annual and as needed basis and develops a procurement plan for any of the organization computer resource deficiencies, sustainment, or emergent requirements.
    • Validates computer equipment requirements and unit Equipment Custodian requests as well as assist Equipment Custodian with hardware and software inventories.
    • Advises and assists 9 AF (AFCENT)/A4 at Shaw AFB in both non-secure and secure networks.
    • Promotes user awareness concerning unauthorized or illegal use of computer hardware and software in support of Operation Security (OPSEC)/Communication Security (COMSEC).
    • Promotes user awareness to ensure all products and briefings produced in support of this contract are in strict compliance with security classification, restrictive caveats, and dissemination directives as prescribed by Air Force (AF) USCENTCOM and USAFCENT directives.
      • Reports cyber security breaches to the A4 Security Manager 9 AF (AFCENT) Information Assurance Officer and distribute cyber security information to the A4 staff. Works with base
        communications and similar organizations to assist A4.
      • Attends NextGen IT training workshop and assists with admin support for granting access and training of NextGen IT for 9 AF (AFCENT)/A4. Qualifications
        • Bachelor's degree in computer science or comparable
          field and IAT Level 2 certification (Security +). The degree may be substituted for eight (years) experience in 3D1 Air Force career field. Possess DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification and maintain certification.
        • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in personal computer and desktop support.
        • Minimum of five (5) years' experience with Defense Information System Agency (DISA) MIAP program and Supply Electronic Document Control program.
        • Experience and working knowledge is required NEX GEN IT, and/or USAF-specific project management software. All contractor employees filling this role MUST have certification prior to assumption of duties.
        • Possess the ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team, trouble shoot methodologies and solve issues and communicate verbally and written with customers in a high operations tempo environment.
          • Must have experience and working knowledge of the following programs and systems within the last three (3) years: Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access), and SIPR Access.
