This position requires a monthly meeting onsite (Irmo, SC) so it is suggest that only applicants who live within a "comfortable driving distance", as determined by the applicant. Optional onsite events include quarterly and yearly employee appreciation events.

The Scrum Master/Agile Coordinator plays a key role in the successful delivery of software system programs.

This individual will be involved in setting the team up for success by adopting, implementing, and conducting Agile practices. This key player position will be facilitating our scrum teams processes and deliverables, they will communicate with stakeholders, escalate issues, remove impediments, and help manage risk. The individual will report to a Manager of Software Engineering and deliver on Agile metrics and other deliverables. The position will be filled with a seasoned Agile professional with high emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills who understands Agile as a flexible framework, rather than a rigid methodology.

Work as a Scrum Master with teams to effectively fulfill project objectives.
Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Product Demos and Sprint Retrospectives
Develop a deep knowledge of all aspects of the project, helps define priorities and effectively manages planning, execution, and monitoring to successful conclusion.
Organize and maintain product documentation
Support effectively delivered features committed for the Release Train
Support Product Owners in developing, maintaining, and grooming Product Backlog
Remove impediments/blockers to keep teams productive
Identify and coordinate dependencies with other internal or external teams
Support/Collaborate with team members to implement Agile/Scrum best practices
Track action items and drive them to closure
Capacity planning and help in release scheduling
Initiate, build, and maintain good relationships with IT and business management to help facilitate effective completion of project work.
Provide metrics and status to leadership, program manager and project sponsors
Assist product owner in issuing project status such as project status reports, burndowns, and keeps management, project sponsors and project stakeholders informed of project status and related issues.
Assist in cross-team release coordination and testing efforts.

Required Experience:
Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master for software engineering or software development teams
Must have at least 2 years of experience writing user stories with acceptance criteria, requirements tracking
1+ years' experience working remotely.

Education Level Required:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with a software development background.
Agile Methodologies based certification preferred.
Scrum Master certification preferred.

Knowledge Required:
Must have experience with PM tracking software with support of the Agile framework. Comfortable with MS Visio or similar product

Physical Requirements: Sitting for long periods of time; standing occasionally; walking; bending; squatting; kneeling; pushing/pulling; reaching; twisting; frequent lifting of less than 10 lbs., occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.; typing; data entry; grasping; transferring items between hands and/or to another person or receptacle; use of office equipment to include computers.

Travel: Available as needed with appropriate notice, but no significant travel is anticipated for this position.

Location : Hybrid (Irmo, SC)

Attire: Casual attire permitted. Professional attire may occasionally be required for specific events or meetings.

Other: Must be eligible to work in the U.S.A. without sponsorship. May be subject to criminal background checks.
