JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction and supervision of the Controller
& CFO, and according to the ECH policies and procedures, is
responsible for coordinating record keeping in accordance with
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles which includes cash
management support, accounts payable, payroll and any other
functions related to the operations of the Business Office. The
Accounts Payable and Payroll Specialist will perform accounts
payable processing, payroll processing, petty cash processing and
reconciliations, and oversee all financial requisitions that are
processed through the Business Office.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma. Bachelor's Degree preferred,
but not required. Experience in all business office operations.
Proficient in software programs necessary to administration,
communication, and payroll, such as MS Office and Windows, iSolved,
and Excel. Has a belief system and engages in faith practices that
are compatible with those of the United Methodist Church. Must be
able to pass standard background checks, including drug screen,
employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry, and Sex Offenders
Registry.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Proficient in software programs necessary to
administration, communication, and payroll, such as Microsoft
Office and Windows, iSolved Payroll, and Blackbaud Financial Edge.
Must be organized with an attention to detail, understand and
respect the need for confidentiality, the ability to demonstrate
the ability to learn and practice teamwork, and must possess the
ability to be both patient and compassionate.The mission of Epworth
