Job Responsibilities Do you have a Passion for Training? Are you enthusiastic and self-driven? Then we may have the job for you! The SCDMV is looking for a Examiner Trainer to join our team. If you're ready to put your training skills to work to help our agency function at its best, we can't wait to meet you! This position is located in the Training Department at the SCDMV Headquarters in Blythewood, S.C. Responsibilities of the Program Coordinator I/Examiner Trainer * You willprepare, conduct, and provide hands-on classroom instructions on all classes of licenses (Commercial and Non-Commercial). * You will provide both initial and refresher training to SCDMV examiners and third party testers. * Serves as an internal consultant on SCDMV policies and procedures as well as State and Federal laws governing licensing. * You will conduct and administer Defensive Driver training and examination in accordance to established guidelines for SCDMV employees who drive state vehicles. * Continuously review current vehicle test routes and recommend necessary revisions to design and routes as needed. * Perform other duties as required by manager Minimum and Additional Requirements Minimum Qualifications * A high school diploma and relevant program experience. Additional Requirements * Must obtain Class B passenger endorsement if currently Class A license holder. * Must obtain a Class A CDL License if currently a Class B license holder within one year of employment. * Must obtain a Class M License within one year of employment. * Must be proficient in the operation of all classes of vehicles. * Knowledge of instructional design, virtual platforms, organization structure, and functions. * Ability to retain DMV policies and procedures and apply them to your daily specified tasks. Preferred Qualifications Agency Preferred * Must have at leasta valid South Carolina CDL Class A or B driver's license * Be at least 21 years of age. Additional Comments What's in it for you?
