Claims Customer Service Representative
Columbia, SC: $15.00-16.00 USD/Hour

    A Day in the Role:
    - Responsible for responding to customer inquiries. Inquiriesmay be non-routine and require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures.
    - Performs research as needed to resolve inquiries.
    - Will deal with reviews, adjudicates claims and/or non-medical appeals.
    - Thoughtfully determines whether to return, deny or pay claims following organizational policies and procedures.
    - Will be answering inbound calls (no outbound calls) between 50-75 a day and 20-25 on slow days.

    • Lives within 30 minutes of Columbia, SC or less .

    • At least 3 months of call center experience.

    • Good with technology.

    • Typing: at least 35 WPM.

    • Good verbal and written communication skills.

    • Comfortable with high call volume.
