Locum Tenens Job Opportunity: Physician Assistant - Pulmonology - South Carolina A reputable healthcare organization near Startex, SC, is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant specializing in Pulmonology to provide inpatient support for pulmonologists. This locum tenens position offers a fantastic opportunity for a Physician Assistant with current inpatient/acute care experience to make a meaningful impact in patient care. Details: Profession: Physician Assistant Specialty: Pulmonology Schedule: Day Shift, 5x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Block Schedules: No Caseload: 100% Adults Setting: Hospital - Inpatient/Acute Care Requirements: License: Must have SC License - no exceptions Start Date: Immediate start, with ongoing availability for 60-90 days initially Experience: Current inpatient/acute care experience required Willingness: Not willing to license Name Clear: Yes Responsibilities: As a Physician Assistant in Pulmonology, you will work closely with pulmonologists to provide comprehensive inpatient care to adult patients. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning under the supervision of pulmonologists. Providing inpatient support for pulmonologists, including rounding, patient consultations, and assisting with procedures. Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
