Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare
services, is seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our
multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will be pivotal in
providing nutritional expertise across our inpatient rehabilitation
and home health settings. Your primary focus will be to assess
patient nutritional needs, develop dietary plans, and monitor their
effectiveness, while also educating patients and families on
healthy eating habits. This position requires a blend of clinical
knowledge and compassion to support the recovery and health goals
of patients with various medical conditions. Conduct comprehensive
nutritional assessments and analyses for patients. Develop,
implement, and monitor individualized meal plans based on medical
and physical condition and patient preferences. Educate patients
and their families on proper nutritional care and healthy eating
habits. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure
the best overall patient care and diet integration. Document
patient care and outcomes to ensure compliance with regulatory
requirements. Stay updated on the latest nutritional science
research and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient
care. Expert knowledge in nutritional science and dietetics.
Ability to communicate complex nutritional concepts to non-experts.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience
with dietary software and patient care documentation systems.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered
Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic
Registration. Licensed Dietitian (LD) in applicable state.
