Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our diverse team, delivering high-quality nutritional care across our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health agencies. This role is pivotal in developing personalized diet plans, educating patients on proper nutritional habits, and monitoring dietary progress to enhance patient recovery and well-being. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support our mission of providing a comprehensive, individualized approach to healthcare. Assess patient health needs and diet restrictions to develop personalized nutrition plans Work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to implement dietary practices that enhance patient outcomes Monitor and document patient progress and dietary efficacy Conduct nutritional research and stay updated with the latest nutrition science Participate in patient care conferences and provide expert dietary education and counseling Ensure compliance with health care regulations and dietary specifications Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in dietary assessment tools and software Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration Licensed Dietitian (LD) as required by state law
