Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in facility-based and home-based patient care, is seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary team. In this role, you will be integral in providing high-quality dietary services in our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. You will devise personalized nutritional plans, support patient recovery, and promote better health outcomes. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise, compassion, and a strong commitment to patient health. Assess patient health needs and diet restrictions to develop personalized nutritional care plans. Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate medical and nutritional needs. Counsel patients and their families on nutritional principles, dietary plans, diet modifications, and food selection. Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust diet plans as needed. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Educate healthcare team members on nutritional topics. Expert knowledge of clinical nutrition Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in dietary education and counseling Ability to interact effectively with a multidisciplinary team Excellent organizational and documentation skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential State licensure where applicable
