Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in facility-based and home-based patient care, is seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our diverse team. In this role, you will be pivotal in providing nutrition therapy and educating our patients on dietary health. Your services will be deployed across our network, mannering both inpatient rehabilitation and home health settings. This position requires someone who is passionate about improving patient outcomes through personalized diet plans and nutrition education. Assess nutritional needs and food patterns of patients and develop appropriate nutrition therapy based on medical conditions and individual preferences. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to integrate and implement personalized dietary interventions. Monitor and document patient progress and modify nutritional plans as required. Educate patients and their families on healthy eating habits and nutrition management for various medical conditions. Participate in research and continuous education on current nutritional practices and trends to enhance patient care. Strong understanding of disease-related malnutrition and interventional nutrition therapies Excellent communication and educational skills Ability to analyze and interpret nutritional data Proficient in nutritional management software and tools Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credentials Licensed Dietitian status in applicable state
