Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and
experienced Registered Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary
team. In this role, you will be integral in providing top-notch
nutritional care and education to patients across our network of
inpatient rehabilitation and home health settings. You will be
primarily responsible for assessing patient needs, developing
dietary plans, and monitoring their effectiveness, ensuring the
integration of these plans with overall patient care. This position
is perfect for motivated individuals who are passionate about
enhancing patient health and wellness through expert nutritional
guidance. Conduct nutritional assessments to develop and implement
dietary plans that correspond with patients’ health needs. Monitor
and evaluate patient progress and adjust dietary plans as needed.
Educate patients and their families on proper nutritional care.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic
care to patients. Manage dietary care documentation and patient
records keeping up with healthcare regulations. Participate in case
meetings, training sessions, and health workshops. Strong knowledge
of disease-related dietary management. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills for educating and interacting with patients,
families, and healthcare staff. Ability to work autonomously and in
team settings. Proficient in dietary assessment tools and software.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Must be a
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or eligible for
registration. Licensed Dietitian status as per state regulation
where practicing.
