Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Augusta, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,984 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; First timers accepted License: Must have a valid nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Telemetry unit experience Ability to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration) including milrinone, dobutamine, amiodarone, cardizem, lidocaine, bumex, and heparin. Description: The position requires caring for adult to geriatric patients. The patient population includes those with diagnoses such as CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypo-/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and vascular issues. The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-5. The unit operates with 16 rooms. The electronic health record system in use is Epic. Nurses will monitor telemetry and manage IV insulin protocols. Skills in interpreting dysrhythmias and administering blood products are essential. All candidates must comply fully with requirements before starting. Weekends will be scheduled every other weekend unless otherwise specified. If one major holiday falls during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it. For two major holidays, the traveler must work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two. Compliance documentation is required to start on time.
