Telemetry experience Titrating cardiac drips experience Patient
population experience: Adolescents to geriatrics Description: This
position involves providing care to patients in a progressive care
unit. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients
continuously with telemetry. Assignments will include managing PCU
level patients. The patient-nurse ratio is 1:4. The unit has 36
beds with an average daily census of 30. Nursing duties will
include managing medication drips and providing high-quality
patient care. The nurse will collaborate with an interdisciplinary
team including physical therapy and respiratory services. Weekend
work is required every other weekend unless specified otherwise.
Floating to other departments may be necessary as needed based on
scope of practice. Compliance with all staffing requirements is
necessary for timely onboarding. Travelers are expected to work
major holidays if they fall within their assignment period.
