Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Columbia, SC Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,584 to $1,728 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $44.00 - $48.00/Hourly. Summary: The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. The RRT works closely with physicians and healthcare teams to provide respiratory care treatments, manage ventilators, and educate patients on lung health. Locals not accepted Responsibilities: Assess patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary conditions. Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments. Operate and monitor ventilators and life-support systems. Perform diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis. Respond to emergency situations, including CPR and airway management. Assist in intubation and extubation procedures. Requirements Responsibilities: 1 - Year experience Required, Epic experience Required, BLS Certification, ACLS Certification, PALS Certification, NRP Certification, RRT, Locals not accepted.
