Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/13/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Apr 13, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel contract in a 18-bed CICU/CVICU setting, requiring active MO or compact licensure and a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience. Details - 18-bed Cardiac ICU (CICU/CVICU) unit in a hospital setting - Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30 - Flexible scheduling options include Fri–Sun or 6 on/8 off rotations - May be scheduled every other weekend - 50% of holidays encountered during the contract are required, including Memorial Day - Floating required within an ICU cluster and Med/Surg & MS/Tele units (1:4 ratio when floating to MS) - Highest acuity and specialty equipment patients are managed by core staff - Cerner charting experience preferred but not required Requirements - Active MO or compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses) - Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required - Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, or 1 year of Level 1 CTICU experience - At least 1 year of experience in the ICU specialty required - 2 professional references required for consideration - Must be able to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing 20 lbs or more Additional Information - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Local candidates are eligible to apply; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced pay rate - Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront prior to placement - Role involves routine exposure to patients with contagious illnesses in a 24/7 healthcare environment American Traveler Job ID P-685841.
