Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: RN Certifications: - TNCC Must-Have: - TNCC - Current ENPC preferred - ACLS - BLS - PALS Description: This position involves working in a trauma environment. The focus will be during the initial primary and secondary survey period. Candidates must possess advanced skills in: - Running a mass transfusion through a level 1 rapid infuser. - Assisting in the operating room as needed. - Strong intravenous (IV) skills. - Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations. - Rapid critical thinking skills. Procedures performed in this role include: - IV placement - Spinal stabilization - Splinting - Assisting with chest tube placement - Traction - Central and arterial line placement - Emergency bedside procedures Candidates should be prepared to work nights and weekends.
