Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Augusta, GA Agency: Job.com LLC Pay: $2,000 to $2,200 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Preparing patients for surgery by conducting pre-operative assessments and obtaining informed consent Assisting surgeons during operations by maintaining a sterile environment, passing instruments, and monitoring patient vitals Administering medications, including anesthesia, as directed by the surgical team Providing post-operative care, including monitoring recovery and managing pain Educating patients and their families about pre- and post-surgical care and expectations Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records and documentation Ensuring compliance with all surgical protocols, standards, and safety procedures Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to plan and execute surgical procedures Monitoring inventory and ordering necessary surgical supplies and equipment Participating in continuing education to stay current with best practices and advancements in surgical nursing Requirements Patient Population: Pediatrics to Geriatrics Certifications Required: BLS General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Need an RN operating room circulator with at least 1 year circulator experience in the intraoperative setting; Specialties include: Retina surgery, total hip/knees, Hand surgery, breast oncology, breast reconstruction, ENT, Lap Chole, Hernia repairs, Podiatry Ratio / Census: 1:4; 5 rooms with average daily census of 18 Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis Scrub Color: Provided by the facility
