Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Float - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Inpatient Job Details: • Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM • Must be available to work various days of the week • On-call availability as needed • Minimum every other weekend required • Minimum 2 major and 2 minor holidays required • Perform nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation • Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population-specific characteristics • Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and bedside shift reports • Complete timely documentation and maintain respectful clinical environment • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities • Serve as preceptor/mentor for other nurses and healthcare staff • Required education: Associate's degree in nursing or diploma in nursing (Bachelor's preferred) • Required certifications: RN license (single state or compact) and BLS certification • Direct patient care experience preferred • Must possess strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills • Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies decisively • Excellent time management and critical thinking skills required Facility: This healthcare organization operates as a comprehensive medical center providing high-quality patient care through an interdisciplinary approach.
