Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Float for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Float - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Inpatient /n/n Job Details: /n • Work four 10-hour day shifts with variable days of the week /n• On-call coverage required as needed for weekdays, weekends, and holidays /n• Minimum every other weekend required /n• Minimum 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays required /n• Function as Cardiovascular OR Specialty Nurse implementing nursing process based on expanded knowledge /n• Provide age-appropriate patient care addressing biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial and educational needs /n• Deliver patient care in complex, urgent, emergent and life-saving situations /n• Coordinate surgical suite activities and direct surgical team in emergent situations /n• Function as circulator or surgical tech during peak surgery hours /n• Some charge nurse responsibilities may be required /n• Maintain high level of patient safety and collaborate with healthcare team members /n• Document patient care legibly and accurately according to department guidelines /n• Maintain 12 contact hours per year for continuing education /n• Must have at least one year of Cardiovascular OR experience /n• Required certifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS (within 180 days of hire) /n• Associates, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required /n• Must demonstrate excellent circulating skills and dual role capability /n• Thorough knowledge of cardiovascular surgery trends and techniques required /n• Ability to multi-task using critical thinking skills and anticipate surgical team needs /n• Excellent organizational and communication skills required /n/n Facility: /n This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility that specializes in advanced cardiovascular surgical services.
