Description Seeking someone to join a tightly knit small team doing
office based procedures. With a small team everyone will share the
workload to work towards the same shared goals: Excellent patient
care and experience Exceptionally efficient/fast procedures
Constant improvement in everything we do Cases You will be one of
two Medical Assistants helping with outpatient interventional
radiology procedures. Done in an office setting Minimally invasive
procedures on awake patients with fluoro imaging. Patients go
through standard pre-op checks/questions, then are taken to a
procedure room for a 1-2 hour procedure and are then watched in
postop for about 30 minutes. One MA is in preop/postop, and one is
in the procedure room. MAs may rotate through both positions. 4-6
cases/day; one day/week Qualifications Experience working in a
procedural setting. Comfortable with a dynamic setting and varied
tasks: charting, checking vitals, talking with patients, opening
sterile supplies in the procedure room, and keeping up with
changing tasks and needs of the situation. Comfortable taking
ownership of your tasks and being able to understand what's going
on with the team and pitching in wherever needed. Valid and Current
Medical Assistant Certification Hours 1-3 days per month 8am-5pm
