Job Description:
Guitar Center, a leader in the musical instruments retail
sector, is seeking an experienced Retail Guitar Repair Tech to join
our vibrant team. This individual will be instrumental in
maintaining and repairing a variety of guitar types, ensuring
high-quality workmanship to meet musician needs. The successful
candidate will be responsible for setup adjustments, fret work,
electronic and structural repairs. By working with us, the Retail
Guitar Repair Tech will contribute directly to the music-making
community by providing essential services that keep our customer's
instruments in top-notch condition. Diagnose issues with guitars to
determine the need for repairs or replacement of parts. Perform
setup adjustments, fret work, and electronic and structural repairs
on a variety of guitars. Maintain quality control standards to
ensure all repairs meet customer expectations and company
guidelines. Communicate with customers about the status of their
instruments and provide estimates on repair work. Keep a clean and
orderly work environment while managing a variety of tools and
supplies. Stay updated on the latest guitar technology and repair
techniques. Proficient in guitar repair and maintenance techniques.
Excellent time management and customer service skills. Strong
communication skills, both verbal and written. High level of
attention to detail. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Certification from a recognized lutherie school is a
plus.
