Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,751 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28204! Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery / High-Risk OB Nurse – North Carolina Start Date: March 16, 2026 Location: Charlotte, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 – 07:15), 36 hours per week; every other weekend required with minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule Highlights: High-volume birthing unit averaging 20 births in 24 hours with 30-40 admits daily 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratios with comprehensive care including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum Fast-paced environment caring for high-risk antepartum and intrapartum patients 16 weeks gestation Epic EMR with full interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory, rapid response teams, and lift teams 13 to 26-week contract options available with 24 hours of paid orientation May float to Special Maternity Care high-risk OB unit as needed Requirements: Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required; 3 years preferred Experience in high-volume facilities (300 births per month) strongly preferred Current NC or Compact RN license Certifications: BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate (C-EFM accepted in lieu of AWHONN) Skills: Circulating for C-sections, sterile vaginal exams, immediate newborn care, triage of obstetrical patients, telemetry interpretation, IV management, and pain assessment Epic charting experience required Must be comfortable with floating within women's services and managing double labor assignments Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a dynamic, high-acuity birthing unit where your expertise will directly impact mothers and newborns during their most critical moments.
