Job Description Job Description Salary: The Psychiatric Nurse
Practitioner delivers primary and specialty patient care, assessing
needs, creating and managing personal care plans, and advocating
for patients and partners within a multi-disciplinary team to
ensure quality outcomes for our clients. They are responsible for
assessing and diagnosing patients, prescribing medications, and
managing health conditions. You will have the opportunity to
educate clients on how to make healthy lifestyle choices. This is a
high-impact, patient-facing role which involves delivering
compassionate and empathetic in-person, telephonic and video-based
(telehealth) patient engagement and monitoring. This is a full-time
role, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional
weekend coverage. Required Qualifications Masters degree or
Doctorate in Nursing Practice from an accredited institution
required. At least two years experience as a Nurse Practitioner
Experience in substance use disorders (SUDs) and/or mental health
Current state licensure Board Certified PMHNP Controlled Substance
/ DEA Certification First Aid / CPR Certification CPI Certification
In this role, you will perform clinical procedures including but
not limited to: ordering, collecting, interpreting and evaluating
laboratory, diagnostic and other screening tests; conducting
assessments, managing medications, performing drug screen
collections and breath alcohol testing, preparing and administering
injections, and performing blood draws. You will also have the
opportunity to provide training and guidance to clinical staff on
the proper performance of clinical tasks. You will provide patient
care by performing psychiatric evaluations, assessment and ongoing
treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental
health disorders. In coordination with Medical Directors, you will
support the development and oversight of treatment plans, which may
include medications and other therapies. As part of an
interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with professionals to
provide a comprehensive plan of care, comply with all regulatory
and safety standards, and participate in quality improvement and
