Registered Nurse (RN) | Neuro Location: Columbia, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,122 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical - Neuro Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty License: Must possess a valid nursing license Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred Must-Have: Stroke experience required; first-time travelers accepted Description: Ratios are 1:5-6. Floating to the Medical-Surgical unit is required. This position requires contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. The role is very active and involves ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs. This position involves working in a health care facility that operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Staff may need to work rotating shifts, including holidays and during inclement weather. Here are the essential job functions: 1) Ability to work at the assigned work location throughout the contractual engagement. 2) Ability to work the substantial portion of the assigned shift. 3) Ability to take call if needed. 4) Ability to work assigned weekends. 5) Ability to work at least 50 percent of the holidays that occur during the contract. Patient age groups primarily include adults. Daily census is approximately 21 patients. The unit has 24 beds available. Interdisciplinary support is provided, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and others. Patient diagnoses include stroke, seizures, head injuries, and multiple sclerosis exacerbations. Special procedures include EMU monitoring and lumbar puncture. Staff will use special equipment, including lumbar drains. Floating among different units is mandatory, including as patient observers. CPI Blue Card is necessary for behavioral health RNs. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias is necessary. Management of dysrhythmias is required. Staff will engage in activities related to blood product administration, phlebotomy, and care of traumatic brain injury and surgical patients. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS PALS - AHA
