Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in facility-based and home-based patient care, is seeking an experienced SLP Therapy Team Leader to oversee our Speech-Language Pathology services across our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health agencies. This position requires a strategic leader who can manage, motivate, and expand therapy services, ensuring the highest levels of patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations. Oversee the daily operations of the Speech-Language Pathology team across multiple facilities. Develop and implement therapy programs and protocols with evidence-based practices. Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations to SLP staff. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and professional standards. Manage staffing, including hiring, training, and scheduling of SLP personnel. Liaise between the therapy team, medical staff, and administrative personnel to guarantee effective communication and coordination of care. Identify opportunities for service enhancement and lead quality improvement initiatives. Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Advanced knowledge of Speech-Language Pathology best practices and protocols Proficiency in data analysis and performance/quality metrics Ability to work flexibly and responsively in a dynamic healthcare environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Active and unrestricted license to practice as a speech-language pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). CPR certification preferred.
