Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Shelby, North

ACLS, NIHSS Description: This position involves working in a
fast-paced environment with various patient diagnoses including
cardiac, respiratory, and neuro conditions. The unit has a total of
24 beds with an average daily census of 24. Patient ratios are RN:
1:5-6 during regular staffing, which may increase to 1:7-8 during
surge staffing. Support staff includes a CNA with a 1:12 ratio.
There is a charge nurse who may have patient assignments but
remains a resource for staff. Additional support includes
phlebotomy, IV/VAT teams, respiratory therapy available 24/7, and
hospitalists on-site during the day with virtual coverage at night.
Telemetry monitoring is performed remotely with the assistance of
tele techs. Basic Med/Tele skills are required, including cardiac
rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating cardiac drips,
IV start skills, and wound care. Familiarity with electronic
medical records systems is necessary, with at least six months of
experience preferred. Staff will be required to participate in a
weekend rotation every other weekend and will work approximately
75% of holidays. Requests for time off may be approved up to six
days, excluding holidays. The schedule will follow a cycle of every
six weeks. Scrub color is navy. Unit culture is described as
