Registered Nurse – Renal Medical-Surgical – Georgia Start Date:
February 23, 2026 Location: Augusta, Georgia Compensation: Details
provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 1:5-6
nurse-to-patient ratio; every other weekend; floating within
facility as needed Highlights: Specialized renal medical-surgical
unit serving adult to geriatric patient populations 49-bed unit
with average daily census of 48 patients Epic EMR system with Pyxis
medication management and SBAR communication protocols
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams,
respiratory services, pharmacy, physical therapy, and rapid
response teams Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed during
assignment First-time travelers welcomed with minimum 1 year of
nursing experience Requirements: Active Georgia or Compact RN
license required at time of application Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; renal medical-surgical
experience preferred Epic charting system experience required
Experience with 1:6 patient ratios preferred Proficiency in
telemetry monitoring, IV therapy, blood product administration,
wound care, chest tube management, BiPAP/CPAP, central and PICC
line care, and hemodialysis management Two supervisory references
from manager-level or above highly preferred Flu vaccination
required; medical/religious exemptions only Full compliance
