Job Opportunity – ICU Float Registered Nurse – Georgia Start Date:
February 9, 2026 Location: Augusta, Georgia Compensation: Details
provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week assignment;
every other weekend required; full-time hours with 24-hour
orientation Highlights: Primary ICU float position with exposure to
multiple critical care and medical-surgical units throughout the
facility Patient ratios: 1:2-3 in ICU, 1:4-5 in PCU, 1:5-6 in
Medical-Surgical and Telemetry Epic charting system required;
experience with Pyxis and SBAR communication protocols Diverse
patient population including adults and geriatrics with varied
diagnoses across all acuity levels Maximum 7 days of requested time
off available during assignment period First-time travelers are
welcome with a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
Requirements: Active Georgia or Compact State RN license required
at time of application Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH
Stroke Scale Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in critical care
or progressive care settings Required Epic charting experience
Strong competency in ventilator management, dysrhythmia
interpretation, arterial line management, central line care, and
blood product administration Experience with neuro ICU, surgical
ICU, CVA/stroke management, and post-neurosurgery care preferred
Two supervisory references from Manager level or above required for
submission Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions
accepted); COVID-19 vaccination not required Flexibility to float
across ICU, PCU, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry units as needed
